Muriel Humphrey Brown

Muriel Fay Buck Humphrey Brown ( born February 20, 1912 in Huron, Beadle County, South Dakota; † 20 September 1998) was the wife of Hubert H. Humphrey, former Vice President of the United States, as well as a U.S. Senator.

After completion of state schools she attended Huron College. In 1936, she married Hubert Humphrey. With him she had three sons and a daughter. When her husband died in January 1978, it took until November of the same year as acting the vacant seat in the U.S. Senate in Washington DC one. In 1979, she married again. Your retirement years spent Muriel Humphrey in Plymouth (Minnesota). She was buried in Minneapolis.
