Murrinh-Patha

The Murrinh - Patha are a tribe of Aborigines who lives in the Northern Territory of Australia. Their habitat stretched before the European settlement of Wadeye to the Fitzmaurice River.

The culture of Murrinh - Patha is based on a typical social structure of the Aborigines, which is formed by different degrees of relationship and relationships between the tribes. Their language is still spoken by about 2500 people (partly as a second language ) and serves other tribes as the key to understanding.
