Musculair

Musculair 1 and 2 were two Musculair built by Günther Rochelt muscle strength aircraft.

With the Musculair 1 Rochelts son Holger 1984 won one of Kremer prizes for the flight over the "Reclining Eight " in four minutes and 25 seconds. In the same year he exhibited with the Musculair 1 to 35.7 km / h world speed record and received an additional Kremer Prize. With the Musculair 1, the first passenger flight was performed with a muscle- powered aircraft in 1984 also. Passenger was Holger Rochelts smaller sister Katrin, at that time still a child.

With the Musculair 2 Holger Rochelt set a new world speed record over 44.26 km / h.

The Musculair 1 is now in the Deutsches Museum in Munich, the Musculair 2 in the flight Schleißheim the Deutsches Museum in Oberschleißheim near Munich.
