Musée Cernuschi

The Musée Cernuschi is a museum dedicated to the Asian arts in Paris. The focus of his collections is on the Far East: China, Japan, Korea.

The Italian-French politician and economist Henri Cernuschi had left his collections in 1896 the city of Paris.

It is in its stately private house near the Parc Monceau, in the 7 avenue Velasquez, VIII arrondissement, metro station Villiers.

From 2001 to 2005, the museum was completely renovated. It houses over 12,000 works and is one of the five largest collections of Chinese art in Europe. As with all managed by the city of Paris collections, admission is free.
