Musée de la Résistance et de la Déportation à Grenoble

The Musée de la Resistance et de la Deportation (Grenoble ) is a history museum (or even society Museum ) in Grenoble, Isère. It documented the French Resistance and the Maquis especially in nearby Vercors.

The museum has about 5,000 exhibits. There is the opportunity to see sound files, photos and movies and listen to. There are five main points: the emergence of resistance, the Maquis, the everyday repression, the restoration of the Republic in 1944 and the moral legacy of resistance. The museum was opened in another building in 1966 to 170 square meters and is located since 1994 in the present building in the city center, written in 1853. Support the museum is the Territory.
