Museo de la Naturaleza y el Hombre

The Museo de la Naturaleza y el Hombre (German Museum of Nature and Man ) in Santa Cruz de Tenerife ( Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain) is a museum dedicated to the art of the Guanches, the original inhabitants of the Canary Islands, and is regarded as the most important museum of Canaries.

It is located in the old former Civil Hospital, a major neo-classical building in the islands and landmarks of the island's capital. The permanent exhibition of the museum was opened in 1974 although there had already existed since 1958.

Among the most important exhibits include multiple mummies of the Guanches, prehispanic settlements reproductions and marine biological objects such as minerals, fossils and samples of different rocks.
