Museum of Cultures (Lugano)

The Museo delle Culture (until 2006: Museo delle culture extracting europee ) is a Swiss museum for non -European cultures in Lugano. It owes its existence to the artists Serge and Graziella Brignoni, who gave the city of Lugano her collection in 1985. Seat of the museum is the Heleneum, a villa on the shores of Lake Lugano, which was built in 1930-1934 by order of Hélène Bieber.

The collection includes around 600 Brignoni objects of primitive art from Oceania, Asia and Africa.
