Museum of the Nation

Museo de la Nación is a Peruvian museum in Lima.

The museum dedicated to the history of Peru. The museum contains artifacts are from the entire period of human occupation in the area of Peru, including a significant collection of Moche, Nazca and Wari ceramics. In addition, copies of many famous ancient pre-Columbian Andean artifacts, especially the Lanzón of Chavín de Huantar and a replica of the grave chamber of El Señor de Sipan Museum. In the 6th floor there is a truth and reconciliation prepared by the Commission Photography exhibition Yuyanapaq. Para Recordar, which deals with the civil war conflict (1980-2000) in Peru. The museum is located at Av. Javier Prado Este 2465, San Borja and was opened on 1 March 1990.
