History

After a quick construction period of six months, the Musical Dome was opened in October 1996. As the first event, the musical Gaudi by Eric Woolfson was shown in a production by Elmar Ottenthal, so the venue was built at first.

However, the musical was a financial flop. In 1998, the operator of the musical had to file for bankruptcy Dome. As the successor took over the two producer Thomas Krauth and Michael Brenner operation and left in September 1999, perform the musical Saturday Night Fever.
