MusicaNeo is a commercial online music platform for the publication and sale of digital sheet music and performance licenses based in Kreuzlingen, Switzerland.

Background

The company was originally founded as Load.CD GmbH. The privately held company was founded in 2003 by Friedrich KISTERS (Managing Director). In 2003 when the project was launched under the name " Load.CD " CDs were still the preferred storage medium. 2012, the platform has been revised and renamed " MusicaNeo ".

In close collaboration with the University Library of Basel and Frank Ezra Levy ( a recognized composer and cellist ) MusicaNeo does the digitization of works of Levy's father, Ernst Levy, a Swiss piano prodigy and innovative composers performed. The artistic heritage Ernst Levy includes over 450 works. The entire collection, which consists of original scores and manuscripts can now be viewed and downloaded in digital MusicaNeo catalog.
