Mutnofret

Mutnofret was an ancient Egyptian queen. She was a minor wife of Thutmose I (c. 1500 BC ), which became important mainly because she was the mother of Thutmose II, who in turn became the successor of Thutmose I.. She is known by only a few monuments. From Karnak derived objects they describe clearly the mother of Thutmose II. In the Wadjmes 's Chapel in West Thebes there was a statue of her.

She carried the title " Queen Mother " ( M wt - nswt ) and " king consort " ( HMT nswt ).
