Mutus (crater)

Mutu is an impact crater in the southern part of the Moon front, southwest of the crater Hagecius and north of Manzinus. The rim is eroded, the interior except for secondary craters largely flat.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after a Majorcan astronomer and mathematician Vicente y Armengol courage.
