Mutya Keisha Siobhan

Mutya Keisha Siobhan is the name of originating from London British pop girl group consisting of Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy, founding member of the Sugababes.

History and foundation

In 1998, the three band members, the Sugababes. After the release of their debut album One Touch Donaghy left the band and was replaced by Heidi Range. After the Sugababes had released three more albums, Buena left the band in late 2005 and was replaced by Amelle Berrabah. In September 2009, the last founding member Buchanan left the trio and was replaced by Jade Ewen.

The first indications of a reunion there were in early 2012, as both Buchanan and Buena mitt rushed through their Twitter accounts that they were in the studio along with " two women ". A little later also confirmed singer-songwriter Emeli Sandé told MTV News that she was working on material for the band. On July 20, 2012, the members announced the reunion on their Twitter accounts. The band's music will continue to appear under the record label Polydor. Since there is still the band Sugababes, a combination of the first names of the singers was chosen as the band's name.

Since 2013: New studio album

For the album so far collaborations with artists such as Katy B and Shaznay Lewis, a former member of All Saints, become known. As a first taste of new music a cappella version of the song Boys Keisha Buchanan was uploaded on YouTube account in January 2013. On 14 March 2013, the song Lay Down was released in swimming pools of Devonte Hynes, the producer, on his SoundCloud page. The song is a cover of the song Swimming Pools ( Drank ) by Kendrick Lamar and was written during the band's recordings for the new album. In addition, the band could be heard Entertainment Group Phoenix in a remix of the song. The song was released on March 26 and also produced by Dev Hynes. This is also also the producer of the first single titled Flatline, which appeared in the UK on 15 September 2013. There, the song reached number 50 on the charts.

The first official joint concert by the band after 12 years was held in London on 1 August 2013. The appearance, in which the band in addition to known Sugababes songs sang five new songs, was highly praised by both fans and critics. Another headlining took place on 25 August at the Festival Manchester Pride. In November 2013 tour will be followed by the Unite Kingdom, which covers six appointments.
