Muxklippe

The Muxklippe is a granite rock in Harz National Park.

Geographical Location

The Muxklippe located in the Harz Mountains, southeast of Bad Harzburg, above the plug valley at the Imperial Way, a few hundred meters away from the border between Lower Saxony and Saxony- Anhalt. The upper part of the cliff is accessible. From here you have a view to plug the dam and the chunks on a clear day.

History

Immediately at the Muxklippe a war memorial for the fallen forest people has been established after the First World War by Brunswick Forest officials.
