Muz-TV

Mus -TW (Russian:. Муз - ТВ, in engl transcription MUZ - TV) is a television station in Russia. Mus -TW since 1996 sends a themed music program comparable to the German channels MTV and VIVA, but with a greater proportion of Russian and Russian-language productions. The share of Russian production is Mus -TW claims to be 70%. Any other items are offered in addition to music clips only since 2005. MUS -TW reached per week in cities with over 100 000 inhabitants, 14.8 percent of the total population.

Since 2003, held annually in early June, the Mus -TW Awards will be held. The award recognizes national artists in up to 13 categories. A group of music producers and music journalists hits for each category a preselection of nominees, from which a winner will be determined by a public vote via SMS and via the Internet. For some time the Mus -TW Awards have been criticized for alleged preference for certain artists. The band was nominated Sweri about six times in a row for the price of the best rock band. The award ceremony will be accompanied by performances of various national and international musicians and broadcast live on Mus -TW.

Mus -TW heard since 2002, the Russian media holding ARS (Russian: АРС ). The ARS is active above all as a producer for the state broadcaster of the first channel and the tele channel Rossiya.
