Muzaffargarh

The city of Muzaffargarh ( Punjabi, Urdu: مظفر گڑھ ) lies in the southwest of the province of Punjab of Pakistan. Muzaffargarh is since 1648 the capital of the district of the same name. It lies between the rivers Chenab and Indus. The districts of Multan, a city of millions, and Khanewal lie to the east of it. It was founded in the 16th century.

The area should be well known for its mangoes and nuts.
