Location

The village is located about 20 km northeast of Sangmélima. The capital Yaounde is located about 80 km as the crow in the northwest. The people living there are majority of the people of the Bulu, which are related to the Ewondo, Eton and Mangissa linguistically and culturally closely and form the joint group of the Beti. Mvomeka'a lies in Francophone part of Cameroon.

Special

The village is the birthplace of President Paul Biya of Cameroon reigning. Biya's first wife Jeanne- Irène Biya found their final resting place here. In Mvomeka'a there is a gymnasium.
