Mwaro Province

Mwaro is a province of Burundi. It is located in the center of the country. The provincial capital is also called Mwaro. By 2002 Mwaro belonged to the province Muramvya.

2007 Mwaro has about 287,000 inhabitants.

Mwaro is divided into six districts ( communes) Bisoro, Gisozi, Kayokwe, Ndava, Nyabihanga and Rusaka.
