Reviews

Commercial could not come close to the success of Creep My Iron Lung. The EP is quite praised by critics in retrospect anyway. So Greg Prato writes in his review for Allmusic:

"What makes My Iron Lung seeking a place is the quality of the tracks, all of them being great outtakes from the sessions for ( ... ) The Bends. And Because of the tracks ' consistency and sequencing, it plays like a real album rather than a collection of B -sides and outtakes thrown together haphazardly. "

" What makes My Iron Lung such a discovery is the quality of the tracks, all of which are great outtakes from the session to (...) The Bends. And by the consistency and order of tracks, it sounds more like a proper album, because like a collection of randomly thrown together b-sides and outtakes. "

In fact, the songs included, not available on other releases of the band up on My Iron Lung itself, which later appeared on The Bends, what sets them apart clearly from other EPs from Radiohead (about the Drill EP in 1993 ). The acoustic version of Creep called Prato, however, as "only weak spot" ( " single weak point " ) and gives an overall score of four out of five points.
