My Neighbor Totoro ( japとなりのトトロ, Tonari no Totoro ), is a Japanese anime film from the year 1988. It was directed by Hayao Miyazaki, who also wrote the screenplay, and was produced by Studio Ghibli.
Action
The Tokyo Professor Kusakabe pulls in 1958 with his two daughters, Satsuki and Mei to the country by Matsuo, in order to be near his wife can, which is recovering in a hospital from a serious illness.
