Reviews

" The film tells in grotesque exuberant style of the apathy of the middle class, the obsession to have money, and of feminist self-awareness in contemporary Japan. The energetic heroine accepts without hesitation any risk to themselves to get money. Even in his second feature film sets Shinobu Yaguchi ( born 1967 ) is a visual puns and irony, and thus transforms the serious efforts of his protagonist in an absurd comedy and their hyperactive obsession charming slapstick. Full enfant terrible of Japanese independent cinema, Yaguchi mimics the aerial view of lonely wilderness in Stanley Kubrick > Shining < gradually builds up a funny cartoon from still images, which originate from the surveillance camera of the bank.
