Myagdi District

Myagdi is one of 75 districts in Nepal. It lies in the Dhaulagiri zone. At the 2001 census, it had 114,447 inhabitants; 2011, there were 113 641.

Myagdi is dominated by the deep valley of the Kali Gandaki between the massifs of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna. Along the Gandaki Annapurna trail leads to the for example the well-known place Tatopani with its thermal baths located right on the river. Another well known place in this way is Ghodepani to approximately 2,900 m with the nearby Pun Danda ( Poon Hill ) and the views of the peaks of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna.
