Myanmar Badminton Federation

The Myanmar Badminton Federation is the supreme national administrative organization in the sport of badminton in Myanmar.

History

The Myanmar Badminton Federation was founded in January 1948 and in March 1952 a member of the World Federation IBF. The Association was established in 1959 founding member of the continental governing body Badminton Asia Confederation, at that time called under the name of Asian Badminton Confederation. National Championships are held since the 1948/1949 season. The seat of the Association is located in the Anawrahta Road in the Lanmadaw Township in Rangoon. The association is a member of the National Olympic Committee.
