MyDefrag is based on the standard programming interface ( API) Disk Defragmenter by Microsoft, an additional program which is basically available for Windows included. All versions are constructed on the basis of this API.

Characteristics of MyDefrag is a graphical user interface and the Wrap Around fragmentation. This means that basically unmovable sectors already conventionally fragmented data are linked.
