Mye
Myene (also Omyene and Pangwe ) is a Bantu language and is spoken by about 46,700 people in Gabon.
It is distributed in the provinces Ogooué- Maritime, Moyen- Ogooué and Estuary.
Myene is written in the Latin script.
Classification
Myene is a Northwest Bantu language and is the only language of the classified as Guthrie Zone B10 group of Myene languages.
She has the dialects Ajumba (also Dyumba, Adyumba and Adjumba ) Enenga, GALWA (also Galoa, Galua, Galloa and Omyene ) Mpongwe (also Mpungwe, Npongwe, Pongoué, Mpongoué and Npongué ) Nkomi (also N'komi ) and Orungu (also Rongo and Rungu ).
