Myles

Myles ( altgr. Μύλης = Müller) was in Greek mythology, the eldest son of Lelex and the Naiad Kleochareia. He was the brother of Polycaon, the Bomolochos and Therapne. After the death of his father he took over from this dominion over Sparta and Lakonia. Thereafter, Myles son Eurotas king of Sparta.

Myles was in ancient times as the inventor of the mill. The first mill is said to have built in Alesiae ( place of grinding ).
