Myra Maimoh

Myra Maimoh (December 6, 1982 in Bamenda, Cameroon ) is a soul singer.

Life

It comes from a large, Christian family from Bamenda. Maimohs mother was her biggest musical influence on children's time. Impressed by the boards of Skeeter Davies, James Brown, Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong, and African blues, country music, traditional African music to jazz and pop, Maimoh started with three years of singing and dancing.

At the age of 13, she wrote her first songs and stories, like It's not too late, Life is short, Aberni ma dad and Our Lord is always there. It's not too late was later released by the Cherubic Queens, a girl band from Cameroon, in which Myra Maimoh entered the age of 15. Three years wrote and sang Maimoh for the Cherubic Queens. Myra Maimoh 's music career ranged from singing to dance performances, as with the group Crystalz.

1998 and 2001 got Maimoh then the title of "Miss Coca Cola", which emerged from an artist competition of Sodaherstellers. In the years 2001 to 2005 Myra not only worked as a studio vocal studios and artists, she also sang background, vocals, lead vocals or jingles for private or public radio stations.

Since 2005 Maimoh lives in Germany. She studied International Business Administration. During this time consisted their musical career from live performances in groups, lead vocals items in choirs, solo performances and studio vocals. Since 2010 she has been under contract with Hitsmith, the label under which she recorded answer'd me.
