The Myresjöhus Arena is a football stadium in the Swedish town of Växjö. The stadium is the new home ground of the association Östers IF and was opened on 1 September 2012.

History

Construction of the stadium began with the laying of the cornerstone by the President of the Swedish Football Association Lars -Åke Lagrell on March 31, 2011. Two days earlier secured the Swedish construction company Myresjöhus the naming rights for an undisclosed sum. The new stadium was built on the site of the sports facilities Värendsvallen. In addition to the stadium, a hockey, floorball and athletics Hall have arisen.

The stadium holds 12,000 spectators at football matches. From these places are 10,000 seats and 2,000 standing places. Addition, there are 20 seats for wheelchair users. All grandstands are covered. With the completion of the men's and women's team of the association Östers IF have left the old stadium Värendsvallen and have moved to the Myresjöhus Arena.

The Myresjöhus Arena was one of the seven venues for the European Football Championship Women 2013. Besides three preliminary rounds was discharged a quarter final in Växjö.
