This contradicted the basic idea of the program, which is intended for non-professional singers, and at the same time prevented a rapid release of a debut album after her victory.

Ultimately they brought but then in late 2005 the single Donne out, which was written by Lara Fabian and Jean -Félix Lalanne. Shortly thereafter, she was withdrawn due to legal problems from the record company, to be published later again. The presented two months late and album La vie devant toi reached "only" number 9 in the album charts, which was below the expectations of Sony BMG. It was re-released with the second single Baby Can I Hold You, a cover version of Tracy Chapman, in the summer of 2006.

Donne eventually sold over 100,000 copies, Baby Can I Hold You, however, gained a short, mediocre success.
