Myron Fohr

Career

Fohr began 1947-1951 with a total of 25 Champ Car races, of which he won four and five other standing on the podium. 1948 and 1949 he finished second in the national championship each of the second rank.

When the 500 Miles of Indianapolis, he was twice at the start. In 1949 he finished fourth. In 1950 this race with the drivers' world championship of Formula 1, so that Fohr has also recorded a start in a World Championship race. On a Marchese - Offenhauser and reached with a delay of five laps on the winner Johnnie Parsons eleventh place.

In 1994, he died at the age of 81 of complications from diabetes.
