Mystery of Mamo
Lupin Sansei: Lupin vs Fukusei Ningen (Japaneseルパン 三 世 ルパンVS复制 人间, Rupan Sansei: Rupan vs Fukusei Ningen ) is an anime film from 1978, part of the series to the manga Lupin III.
Action
Inspector Zenigata, who the master thief Lupin III hunts, learns that this was hanged in Transylvania. To be convinced of his death, he travels to him. When he found him in a mausoleum, it drives the presumed dead a stake through his heart, but after an explosion Lupin is alive again. After his flight from Zenigata Lupin robs together with his best friend Jigen a gem of an Egyptian king grave. With the help of the samurai Goemon Ishikawa XIII. , the two flee again before Inspector Zenigata. Meanwhile takes Fujiko Mine from an unknown person called " Mamo " the contract from Lupin remove the gemstone.
After a long fight with the desert lupine breaks his promise to Goemon and Jigen to no longer be interested in Fujiko, and breaks down the group. Fujiko betrays Lupin Mamo, which is a clone of Howard Lockwood. Soon he has Lupin convinced that he, too, was cloned and the correct Lupin died in Transylvania.
Production and publication
The film was produced in 1978 by Tokyo Movie Shinsha, directed by Soji Yoshikawa led. The character design designed Yuzo Aoki. The film was released in Japanese theaters on December 16, 1978.
The anime was released in English in North America, Australia and the United Kingdom as The Secret of Mamo and The Mystery of Mamo. He has also been translated into French, Italian and Portuguese.
