N-Trak

N -Trak is a model railroad modular system of gauge N, which originated in the U.S. in the early 1970s. The system is based on a rigid grid of 2 feet (ca. 61 cm), thereby closed ring systems are possible. There are three adjacent electrically independent Streckengleise defined, of which represent the two front a continuous main line, while the third track is used for local traffic.

Due to the worldwide proliferation of the system of international systems are very easy to implement.

N -Trak was the inspiration for almost all subsequent module systems such as Bendtrak, FREMO or American.
