N. R. Narayanamurthy

NR Narayanamurthy CBE ( Kannada: ಎನ್ ಆರ್ ನಾರಾಯಣಮೂರ್ತಿತ; born August 20, 1946 in Mysore, Karnataka ) is an Indian industrialist and co-founder of the software company Infosys Technologies.

He came as the son of a Brahmin to the world, first attended the University of Applied Sciences in Mysore and completed his university education in 1969 with a Master of IIT Kanpur from. In 1981 he founded together with six Kollegem the software company Infosys Technologies. From 1981 to 2002 he was the CEO of the company. After the resignation, he was chairman and "chief mentor ".

Today he is one with assets of more than 1.1 billion U.S. dollars to the richest Indians.
