Na Chueak District

Amphoe Na Chueak ( Thai อำเภอ นาเชือก ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the south of the province of Maha Sarakham. The Maha Sarakham Province is located in the center of Northeast Thailand, Isaan.

Geography

Amphoe Na Chueak borders the following districts (from north clockwise): Amphoe Kut to the rank Borabue, Wapi Pathum, Na Dun and Yang Maha Sarakham Sisurat in the province at Amphoe Na Pho Buriram Province, and to the Amphoe Nong song Hong and Pueai Noi province of Khon Kaen.

History

Well Chueak was posted on July 19, 1960 initially as a small district ( King Amphoe ) was established by being separated from Amphoe Borabue. Then the promotion is done for Amphoe in July 1963.

Management

Amphoe Na Chueak is divided into ten municipalities ( tambon) organized, in turn into 146 villages ( Muban ) are divided.

There is a small town ( thesaban tambon) in the district:

• Well Chueak ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล นาเชือก ), consisting of parts of the tambon Na Chueak and Khwao Rai

In addition, there are ten " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
