Na Duang District

Amphoe Na Duang ( Thai: อำเภอ นาด้วง ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the east of Loei province, which lies in the western part of Northeast Thailand, known as Isaan.

Geography

Adjacent counties and regions are ( from south clockwise): Amphoe Erawan which, Mueang Loei and Pak Chom in the province of Loei, Amphoe Nam Som Udon Thani province and the Amphoe Suwannakhuha, Na Na Wang sound and the province Nongbua Lamphu.

History

The area of present-day district Na Duang was originally called Ban Na Duang, it was called a village after the hunter Duang and Udon Thani province was assumed. Duang 1881 led his people here and founded a new village community.

In 1945, the village was the Tambon Thung Pho assigned to the district Mueang Loei, later in 1967 the Tambon Na Din Dam. 1976 Na Duang got himself a tambon status. On January 17, 1977, has been upgraded along with three other Tambon a small district ( King Amphoe ). On 19 July 1991 Na Duang got the full Amphoe status.

Management

Amphoe Na Duang is divided into four subdistricts ( tambon), which continued in 41 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.

Na Duang ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล นาด้วง ) is also the name of a small town ( thesaban tambon) in the district, it consists of parts of the tambon Na Duang.

There are also four " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
