Na-Ga

Na -Ga is the pseudonym of a Japanese artist who works for the game developer key and has become known for the illustrations of the successful Japanese Adventure Kanon, Air and Clannad.

Biography

In the early days of his career, Na -Ga worked from 1997 to 1999 for the company Pearl Soft R. There he worked as a professional artist at the Adventures Hakanai Omoi: Anemone, and Sweet Days. To the developers team of key he was joined by only after the production of cannon and was involved in the development of computer graphics of Air and Clannad. The first work in which his own creativity in the character design came about that was the Adventure Little Busters! . In this, he worked with Itaru Hinoue out of the character design. In as yet unpublished game rewrite he was listed only as a computer graphic artist. Nevertheless, he made later in numerous illustrations, even to older games where he was not originally involved.

Along with June Maeda and the makers of Dengeki G 's Magazine of ASCII Media Works, he worked on the project Angel Beats! . The project consists of various media, he participated as the sole character designer. Outside of the professional environment he worked in Dōjin from Circle -D.

Reception

A certificate signed by him t-shirt, which illustrated the Na -Ga Riki Naoe from Little Busters! wore as a motif, was offered on the Japanese auction page of Yahoo! in March 2009 for auction. The lowest bid was 500 yen ( about 4 euros ). At the end of the auction it brought the shirt to slightly more than 2 million yen ( about 15,000 euros ). The t-shirt was originally offered to Keys 10th anniversary from February 28 to March 1, 2009 at the Key 10th Memorial Fes.
