Na Pho District

Amphoe Na Pho ( Thai: อำเภอ นา โพธิ์ ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the north of the province of Buriram. The Buriram province is located in the northeast region of Thailand, the so-called Isaan.

Geography

Neighboring districts (from the south clockwise): Amphoe Phutthaisong the province of Buriram, Amphoe Nong Song Hong in the province of Khon Kaen and Amphoe Na Chueak and Yang Maha Sarakham Sisurat in the province.

History

Na Pho was on 31 March 1981 as a sub-district ( King Amphoe ) was established by the four Tambon Na Pho, Ban Khu Ban Du and Don Kok were separated from Amphoe Phutthaisong. On January 1, 1988, he was promoted to Amphoe.

Management

The county Na Pho is divided into five subdistricts (tambon ), which are further subdivided into 71 villages ( Muban ).

Na Pho ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล นา โพธิ์ ) is also the name of a small town ( thesaban tambon) in the district, it consists of parts of the Tambon Na Pho and Si Sawang.

There are also five " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations).
