Na Thawi District

Amphoe Na Thawi ( Thai: อำเภอ นาทวี ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the southern province of Songkhla. The Songkhla province is located in the southern region of Thailand on the coast to the Gulf of Thailand.

Geography

Neighboring districts and areas (from west clockwise): Amphoe Sadao which, Chana, and Saba Yoi Thepha. All Amphoe located in the province of Songkhla. In the south of the state of Kedah is Malaysia.

History

The area of present-day district Na Thawi 1957 initially set up as a sub-district ( King Amphoe ), by being separated from Amphoe Chana.

Management

Amphoe Na Thawi is divided into ten sub-districts ( tambon), which continued in 92 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.

Na Thawi is also the name of a small town ( thesaban tambon) in the district, it consists of parts of the tambon Na Thawi.

In addition, there are ten " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
