Na Yong District

Amphoe Na Yong ( Thai: อำเภอ นา โยง ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) of the province of Trang. Trang Province is located in the southern region of Thailand.

Geography

The county Na Yong is in the east of the province.

Adjacent counties and regions are ( from south clockwise): Amphoe Yan Ta Khao, and the Mueang Trang in Trang province and Amphoe Si Banphot and Srinagarindra Phatthalung Province.

History

Na Yong was on 1 April 1990 initially as a small district ( King Amphoe ) was established by six Tambon Mueang Trang from Amphoe were separated. On 4 November 1993 Na Yong got the full Amphoe status.

Management

Amphoe Na Yong is divided into six subdistricts ( tambon), which continued in 53 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.

Na Yong Nuea ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล นา โยง เหนือ ) is the name of a small town ( thesaban tambon) in the district, it consists of parts of the tambon Na Yong Nuea.

In addition, there are six " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
