Na Yung District

Amphoe Na Yung ( Thai: อำเภอ นา ยูง ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the northwestern province of Udon Thani. The Udon Thani Province is located in the northeast region of Thailand, the so-called Isaan.

Geography

Neighboring districts are (from south-east clockwise): Amphoe Ban Phue and the Nam Som in the province of Udon Thani, Amphoe Pak Chom Loei province, as well as Amphoe Pho Tak Sangkhom and Nong Khai province.

History

Na Yung was on 1 January 1988 initially as a sub-district ( King Amphoe ) was established by Amphoe Nam Som was separated from. On September 7, 1995, he was promoted to Amphoe.

Administrative units

Amphoe Na Yung is ( tambon) divided into four municipalities, which in turn in 40 village communities ( Muban ) are divided. There are also four Tambon Administration Organization ( " Tambon Administrative Organization" - TAO, Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ).
