Naantalin maalaiskunta

The rural municipality of Naantali (Finnish Naantalin Maalaiskunta, swedish Nådendals landskommun ) is a former municipality in the southwestern Finnish landscape Varsinais- Suomi.

The rural municipality of Naantali included the area around the city of Naantali, especially the north of the center -lying areas and the offshore island Luonnonmaa. Most recently, she had an area of 45.8 km ² and 3,100 inhabitants ( 1963). In the 1960s, the settlement Naantalis had already grown beyond the city limits, so that the population of the rural community surpassed the city. Therefore, the rural community of Naantali was incorporated in 1964 in the city of Naantali.
