Nadhmi Auchi

Nadhmi Shakir Auchi ( born June 11, 1937 in Baghdad, Iraq ) is a British businessman. His fortune amounted to 1.995 billion pounds in 2007.

In the 1970s he achieved with the administration of funds from the petroleum industry his fortune. When Saddam Hussein came to power in 1979 joined Auchi to escape to the UK and also took their citizenship. In 2003, he received two years suspended prison sentence and a fine in the court process for Elf Aquitaine scandal.
