Nadrensee

Nadrensee is a municipality in the district of Vorpommern - Greifswald in Mecklenburg- Vorpommern ( Germany ). It belongs to the Official Löcknitz Penkun based in the community Löcknitz.

Geography

The municipality between three lakes on a plateau between the Oder and Randowtal is the southeast corner of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, bordering the Republic of Poland in the east and to the State of Brandenburg in the south. History

Nadrensee was first documented in 1257. The name is derived from the Low German na Dreen lakes. Some hooves belonged to the Cistercian monastery Walk Riede Damitzow (now Brandenburg municipality Tantow ). The monks sold their titles later on a Novodevichy Convent in Szczecin, where the lands remained until the Reformation.
