Nafarroa Bai

Nafarroa Bai ( NaBai, Basque for 'yes' to Navarra) also called Formación Navarra, is an alliance of Basque Country - oriented parties in the Spanish autonomous community of Navarre. The member parties Aralar, and EAJ / PNV are more or less oriented Basque- nationalist. In addition, include the Alliance to numerous politically left -oriented individuals from Navarra. Eusko Alkartasuna and Batzarre were founding members, but left the coalition in early 2011.

The first objective in the creation of this formation was to reach for the member parties and individual members of the Spanish Parliament elections in 2004 one of the seats in the House of Navarre for the Cortes, which was successfully accomplished. The electoral rolls of Nafarroa Bai no members of these parties, but only independent candidates occurred. In the regional elections of 2007, the party won 23.7 % of the vote and 12 seats in the Parliament of Navarre, and established itself as the second Unión del Pueblo Navarro force behind, the regional sister party, the PP ( 42.2 %).
