Nafisa Joseph

Nafisa Joseph ( born March 28, 1978 in Bengaluru, † 29 July 2004 in Mumbai ) was an Indian model and video jockey on MTV India. In 1997 she was chosen as the Miss India Universe.

Life

Joseph grew up in Bangalore. She was the younger of two daughters of the couple and Nirmal, Usha Joseph. Your education completed Joseph at Bishop Cotton School and St. Joseph's College in Bangalore.

At the age of 12 years, Joseph was for the first time as a model in front of a camera. My neighbor had her photo shoot mediates the display of a department store. In addition to her television career, Nafisa Joseph set for animal welfare. She supported campaigns of animal rights groups Welfare of Stray Dogs ( WSD), People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA ) and People for Animals (PFA ). In the output for the Bangalore Times of India, she wrote a weekly column under the title Nafisa for Animals.

Nafisa Joseph took on 29 July 2004 at the age of 26 in her apartment in Mumbai 's life. According to her parents the reason for this step was the cancellation of their originally scheduled for August 28, 2004 wedding.
