Nagata-ku, Kobe

Nagata -ku (Japanese长 田 区) is a municipality ( ku ) of Kobe. With 11.46 km ² and just over 100,000 inhabitants, both from the surface and from the Population forth the smallest of the nine districts, but has almost 9,000 inhabitants per km ² the highest population density.

Geography

The most closely built quite flat Nagata -ku is in the south of the city, neither a larger share of the Rokko mountain ridge behind the downtown area is still significant green spaces.

History

Traffic

Nagata is by the railway lines JR West JR Kobe Line as the stretch of San'yo Main Line, Kobe Kosoku tetsudō Tozai Line, San'yo Denki tetsudō main line, Shintetsu Arima - line, the Seishin - Yamate Line and Kaigan Line of Metro Kobe and well developed by the Hanshin highway No. 31.
