Ngong is a dying language in the North Province of Cameroon.
The Ngong one of the jarawoiden languages , a subgroup of the bantoiden languages. It is regarded as victims of the restrictive language policy in Cameroon, which allows only the official languages of French and English as official languages and neglects the native languages of the country.
In 1983 there were two people who could speak fluent Ngong. 1995 could not even speak the language of only one person.
Other names for the language are Gong, Puuri and Nagumi.
