Nagymaros

Nagymaros [ nɒɟ'mɒroʃ ] ( German name: Freistadt) is a Hungarian town in Pest county.

The city is located in the small area Vac and is about 50 km north of the capital Budapest on the eastern, the left bank of the Danube River and the Borzsony ( Pils Mountains). Through the town the international railway line Bratislava -Budapest runs.
