Nahal Brigade

The Nahal Brigade is an infantry brigade of the Israeli army.

The brigade was formed in 1982 as a result of increased demand of the Israeli infantry due to the nascent conflict in southern Lebanon. In it there is the infantry subunits 931 and 932 as well as a special unit: the 50th Regiment Today there are in the Nahal non-combat units that are active in the formation or, for example, known in Israel has become Nahal band. The members are recognizable by their green beret. They are affectionate and somewhat derisively called in Israel because of " light pens".
