Najeh Braham

Najeh Braham ( born May 20, 1977 in Bembla ) is a Tunisian football player.

Playing career

In the club

Braham began his playing career at the Tunisian club U.S. Monastir. His first stop in Germany was the first SC Göttingen 05 During the winter break of the season 2001/ 02 Braham joined the third division Eintracht Trier, came there in his first season but only six missions. After the rise of Trier in the 2nd Bundesliga Braham was supposed to leave the club, but there is no prospect was for the striker. The following year, he then achieved a breakthrough in harmony, when he had 13 goals contributed significantly to the seventh place in the table of Trier in the first second division season. The following season, in 15 games he managed a single goal, so he moved to second division team FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt 2004. There, however, he only came to twelve inserts and a gate, which was due not least to its wayward way of playing, so the team has finally spoken out against Braham.

After the descent of the Thuringian he returned to Eintracht Trier, who were also relegated to the Regionalliga. There, he scored 12 goals in 24 games, but could not prevent the renewed decline of the club in the league. In the season 2006/ 07 Braham played at the Regional South Club Sportfreunde Siegen, but was mostly used in the second team. His contract was terminated by mutual consent in the winter break of the season 2007/ 08. On 22 January 2008 his commitment at the 1 FC Magdeburg was announced. Braham's contract ran until the season end of 2008 and should be extended in qualifying for the third league for another year. Although the Magdeburg did not reach the qualification, Braham extended his contract until 2010. At the end of the second season in Magdeburg Braham was informed that the FCM plan in the future without ihne and he can find a new club. Brahams balance in Magdeburg are 18 goals in 45 games.

Najeh Braham then moved to third division side FC Erzgebirge Aue, where he received a one-year contract until June 2010. There, the center forward scored 11 goals in 25 games and was second leading scorer of the team. But then he got knee problems that made surgery necessary, and the premature end of the season meant. Even without his help, the team nor the promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga. After the Tunisians remained another year in Aue, which stood in the shadow of his knee injury. Only five substitutions were for him and his contract was not renewed at the end of the season.

Since February 2014 Braham works as a trainer of the Oberliga I. SC Göttingen 05

In the National Team

In the Tunisian national football team Najeh Braham came to a total of six missions, scoring three goals. At the Africa Cup 2004, he was part of the Tunisian team that won the African Cup. He stood there with two games on the pitch and scored a goal.
